2018 Lenten Study Group

Are you looking for something more than what sometimes feels like the “rinse and repeat” humdrum of everyday life?  Do you feel a need for more meaning and purpose in your life?  Join us starting February 18 for the six weeks of Lent and learn ways to uncover the miracle that God wants you to play a role in creating.  A church-wide connection group study of the book “Made for a Miracle:  From Your Ordinary to God’s Extraordinary” by Mike Slaughter will be paired with a sermon series titled “Hearing and Answering God’s Call” which will focus on topics raised in each week’s connection group session.  Each of us has been given specific talents and abilities.  For a real miracle to take place, God expects us to apply these talents and abilities – acting with God to perform divine work.  By examining biblical examples of how to use your God-given gifts for God’s glory, our hope is that you will discover that you, too, were Made for a Miracle.   Sign up to participate at the special table in the Narthex starting this Sunday or mark your Connection Card!  Leader guide and session DVDs will be provided.
